Paper-I: COMMUNITY NUTRITION
(This course will enable the students To orient students to the basic principles of nutritional assessment as applied to the study of community nutrition, understand the importance of nutrition education, develop an understanding the role of micro-organism in food, prepare standardized recipes for specific age groups and calculate the nutrients)
Paper-II: DEVELOPMENT IN LATE CHILDHOOD AND ADOLESCENCE
(This course will enable the students To understand development in late childhood and adolescence, study the significant changes during late childhood to adolescence, gain knowledge of issues concerning late childhood and adolescence.)
Paper-III: TEXTILE DESIGN
(This course will enable the students To acquire knowledge of various methods of fabric construction, develop creativity in designing for prints, impart knowledge of traditional textiles of India, Create awareness of different dyeing and printing techniques.)
Paper-IV: HOUSING AND INTERIOR DECORATION
(This course will enable the students To develop understanding regarding housing needs, Principles, Planning of house, experiment with space, Preparing house plans, develop graphic skills to express ideas in design, forms, knowledge of landscaping and economic use of space.)
Paper-V: EXTENSION COMMUNICATION TECHNIQUES
(This course will enable the students To impart knowledge of extension teaching, develop awareness about extension learning, assess the extension teaching methods and approaches, and gain the knowledge about art of presentation and devices useful in effective communication.)
Paper-VI: APPLIED PHYSIOLOGY- I
(This course will enable the students To understand the structure and function of various organs of human body, promote the basic knowledge of first aid)
Paper-VII: APPLIED CHEMISTRY-I
(This course will enable the students To develop understanding and necessity regarding carbohydrates, lubricants, fermentation, oil and fats, soap and detergent)
Paper-VIII: APPLIED PHYSICS & COMPUTER APPLICATION -I
(This course will enable the students To learn about electrical safety, Heat, Appliances and Operating systems and word processing software (MS WORD) and database creation and management software (MS EXCEL)
